The Toronto Raptors look to put an end to their third-quarter slumps when they host the Indiana Pacers tonight. The Raptors came away with a 126-113 win over the Charlotte Hornets on Wednesday, but allowed a 10-0 run in the third quarter that sliced their 19-point lead in half. Toronto is 13-and-7 on the season and 7-and-1 at home.

It’ll be the Seattle Sounders against Toronto F-C in the M-L-S Cup Final at BMO Field for a second straight year. Seattle advanced to the championship game by beating the Houston Dynamo 5-nil on aggregate in the Western Conference final. Toronto will host the Cup Final on December 9th. T-F-C lost in penalty kicks to Seattle last year.

Tiger Woods opens the second round of the Hero World Challenge in the Bahamas three shots back of leader Tommy Fleetwood. Woods made his latest comeback from back surgery yesterday with a 3-under-69. The American superstar had a fourth back surgery in April to fuse two disks in his lower back. There are no Canadians in the 18-man field.

Germany will find out the path it will need to take to defend its World Cup title when the draw for FIFA’s marquee tournament unfolds today in Russia. Iceland and Panama are in the draw for the first time, Peru is back for the first time since 1982 and Egypt returns for the first time since 1990. Four-time champion Italy won’t be there, however. Neither will the United States. Both countries failed to qualify.
