The Ministry of Natural Resources and Forestry is seeking the public’s help in identifying the person or persons responsible for dumping the remains of a cow moose along the Johnston Road, just north of Madoc, in the Municipality of Centre Hastings. The moose had been shot out of season.
The remains of the butchered moose were found inside a grain bag that was dumped in a ditch along the Johnston Road during the first week of December 2014.
