Brooke Henderson won her sixth career LPGA tour title over the weekend. The 20-year-old from Smiths Falls was 12-under through the Lotte Championship in Hawaii to win by four strokes.



The Minnesota Wild used a four-goal second period to beat Winnipeg 6-2 to cut the Jets’ lead

in the best-of-seven set to 2-1.


The Vegas Golden Knights are a win away from the second round after beating the LA Kings 3-2.


Columbus takes a two-nothing lead by beating the Capitals 5-4.


And the Penguins take a two-one lead by downing the Flyers 5-1.



The Maple Leafs will look to shut down the Bruins’ top line as the series switches to Toronto for Game 3 tonight. Boston jumped out to an early 2-0 series lead thanks in large part to the trio of David Pastrnak, Patrice Bergeron and Brad Marchand, who have 20 points through the first two games. Toronto’s own top line has been cold. Auston Matthews is still chasing his first point.



The Avalanche will try to avoid going down 3-0 in their series against Nashville as they host Game 3 tonight. The Predators won the first two games of the first-round series on home ice last week. Elsewhere, the Devils host Game 3 against Tampa Bay. The Lightning lead that series 2-0. And the Sharks play the Ducks in Anaheim with a 2-0 lead.



The Boston Red Sox extend their best start in their 118-year history beating Baltimore 3-1.


The Blue Jays return home to begin a three-game series against the Kansas City Royals tonight. It will be Toronto’s first game since Friday. The Jays were rained out in Cleveland over the weekend and had both games postponed. Jaime (HY’-may) Garcia starts for Toronto while the Royals counter with Danny Duffy.



The Golden State Warriors are back in action tonight hosting San Antonio in Game 2 of their first-round playoff series. The defending champion Warriors won the first game for a 1-0 lead in the best-of-seven set. The Raptors get another day off before playing Game 2 of their series against Washington tomorrow night. Toronto is up 1-0 after winning Game 1 on Saturday.
