The NHL is investigating a possible homophobic slur during the Leafs’ 6-2 loss to the Lightning.  Television cameras picked up what sounded like a slur when Tampa’s Yanni Gourde and Toronto’s Morgan Rielly were skating into the Leafs’ end.

U-F-C fighter and boxer Conor McGregor was arrested in South Florida yesterday for stealing the cellphone of someone who was trying to take his photo.  According to a Miami Beach police report, the 30-year-old McGregor was charged with robbery and criminal mischief. McGregor was being held on $12,500 bail. Jail records didn’t list an attorney.
