Nick Taylor of Abbotsford, B-C is in the early mix at the Wells Fargo Championship. Rory McIlroy turned in a 5-under 66 that gave him a share of the lead with Joel Dahmen after the opening round yesterday. Taylor is a shot back after opening with a 67. McIlroy is a two-time winner at Quail Hollow.

Brooke Henderson is 5 shots off the lead tied for 22nd at the LPGA Mediheal Championship heading into day 2.
