67’s suffer their first loss of the playoffs and it was a big one….7-2 to the  Storm.  Guelph’s win cutting the 67’s lead to two-one in the OHL Final.  Game 4 goes tomorrow night, also in Guelph.

The Boston Bruins eliminate Columbus from the NHL playoffs with a 3-0 win.  Tuukka Rask with the shutout.

The Avalanche and Sharks need a Game 7.  Gabriel Landeskog scoring two minutes 30 minutes into overitme lifting Colorado to a 4-3 home win over the Sharks. San Jose hosting the decider tomorrow night.

It’s Game 7 time in St. Louis. The Blues host the Dallas Stars tonight with a spot in the N-H-L’s Western Conference final on the line. St. Louis won Game 6 on Sunday to force the deciding game.

The Minnesota Twins thump the Blue Jays 8-0 at Rogers Centre.

The Ottawa Champions open spring training with 24 players reporting to camp.  They plan an intrasquad game today at one then three exhibition games at home starting Thursday afternoon.

Kawhi Leonard and the Toronto Raptors are back home tonight hosting the Philadelphia 76ers in Game 5 of their Eastern Conference semifinal. The best-of-seven series is knotted at two games apiece thanks to an impressive performance from Leonard in Game 4 that gave Toronto a much-needed win on Sunday. The series returns to Philadelphia for Game 6 on Thursday.

The pre-season for the CFL is expected to get underway at the end of May but the 2019 season isn’t a guarantee as CBA talks continue between the players and the league.

If a deal can’t be reached…there is potential for a strike and many would consider that to be a disaster for the CFL and disappointing news for Redblacks fans.
