The 67’s record-setting playoff run comes to a screeching halt in Guelph with a Game six  8-2 loss to the Storm.  67’s leading 2-0 after the first period but the Storm were relentless in their comeback.

Kawhi Leonard bounced Philadelphia out of the playoffs.  Leonard hitting a shot from the corner at the buzzer that bounced off the rim four times before falling giving the Toronto Raptors a thrilling 92-90 win over the 76ers in Game 7 of the Eastern Conference semifinal series. The Raptors will face the top-seeded Bucks starting Wednesday in Milwaukee.

Aaron Sanchez loses his third straight start, allowing five runs in six innings as the Blue Jays fell 5-1 to the Wite Sox at Rogers Centre.

Canada will look for back-to-back wins today when it faces host Slovakia at the men’s world hockey championship. The Canadians bounced back from a tournament-opening loss to Finland by trashing Britain 8-0 yesterday. Canada hasn’t won gold since 2016.

Canada’s Denis Shapovalov is in action today (7:30 a-m Eastern) at the Italian Open. He’ll be opening his tournament with a first-round matchup against Spain’s Pablo Cerrano Busta. The winner will get top-ranked Novak Djokovic in the second round.
