Blues and Bruins are all even through four games of the Stanley Cup final.

Ryan O’Reilly’s second goal of the night broke a two-all tie midway through the third in a 4-2 St. Louis win.

Zdeno Chara took a puck to the mouth early in the second.  He returned to the bench for the start of the third but never got back on the ice.

Bruins host Game 5 on Thursday.

Could Erik Karlsson be returning to Ottawa?   He’s said to be interested IF he decides to test free agency.  Karlsson’s wife is from the capital and they have a big house in the Glebe.

The Redblacks name their Number One quarterback and he’s Donminque Davis. Redblacks open the season June 15th in Calgary.

The Toronto Blue Jays begin a three-game home series against the New York Yankees tonight. Toronto is hoping a return to Rogers Centre can turn things around after an 0-and-6 road trip. The struggling Blue Jays have just seven wins in their last 30 games. Clayton Richard will start for Toronto tonight while the Yankees counter with Masahiro Tanaka.

Roger Federer will battle fellow Swiss player Stan Wawrinka today in the French Open quarterfinals. At this same stage four years ago, Wawrinka beat Federer in straight sets in their last Roland Garros meeting.

American Sloane Stephens will try to get a step closer to a second Grand Slam title when she takes on Britain’s Johanna Konta in quarterfinal action at the French Open today. Stephens is seeded seventh at Roland Garros while Konta is 26th. Stephens won the U-S Open in 2017 and was a finallist at last year’s French Open before losing to Simona Halep.

A pair of Canadian Premier League teams square off tonight in the second qualifying round of the Canadian soccer championship. Forge F-C hosts Cavalry in Hamilton in the first leg of the second round. Cavalry will host the second leg of the two-game series next week.
