The St. Louis Blues win the Stanley Cup…their first Cup ever, beating the Bruins 4-1 in Game 7 in Boston. Ryan O’Reilly wins the Conn Smythe as playoff MVP. The Blues had the worst record in the league on January 1st.

It’s Game 6 tonight between the Raptors and Golden State Warriors. Raptors lead the championship series 3-2. Kawhi Leonard says this is about enjoying the moment and having fun.

The Toronto Blue Jays play the rubber match of a three-game series against the division-rival Orioles in Baltimore tonight. Marcus Stroman takes the hill for Toronto, which dropped the series opener Tuesday but won last night’s contest 8-6. A win would give the Blue Jays just their third series victory since the end of April.

The U-S Open gets underway today at Pebble Beach and a brand new CFL season gets underway in Hamilton with the Ti-Cats hosting the Saskatchewan Roughriders.  Redblacks open in Calgary on Saturday.

Montreal teenager Felix Auger-Aliassime takes on France’s Gilles Simon at the Stuttgart Open in Germany this morning. The winner of the match will advance to the quarterfinals at the grass-court event. Milos Raonic of Thornhill, Ontario gets the day off before playing his quarterfinal matchup tomorrow.
